A hydraulic jig is a large circular separator composed of several sector-shaped jigging units. Driven by an electric motor and hydraulic system, it generates periodic pulsating water flow to stratify materials based on density differences, enabling effective separation of heavy and light minerals.
The working principle of the hydraulic jig involves an electric motor driving a hydraulic cylinder to push the screen plate within the jig chamber into reciprocating up-and-down motion, creating a periodic pulsating water flow. Under the impact of the water flow and influenced by their own density differences, heavy minerals settle rapidly and concentrate at the bottom layer, while light minerals float upwards with the water flow and are discharged through the overflow outlet.

Precise and Efficient Separation: Pulsating water flow parameters (such as stroke and frequency) are adjustable, allowing for accurate separation of different minerals based on density differences. It has a wide effective particle size range for separation (0.5-20mm).
Compact Structure with Sector-Shaped Jig Chambers: The sector-shaped distribution of jig chambers makes the structure compact, suitable for spaces with limited area such as mining vessels. It has a large processing capacity, extensive jigging area, and centralized ore feeding.
High Efficiency of Hydraulic Transmission: The hydraulic jig saves approximately 55% more electricity than conventional jigs of the same mineral processing area. Additionally, the amount of under-screen water supplementation can be reduced to about one-quarter of that of conventional jigs, making it energy-saving and environmentally friendly.

The hydraulic jig is highly suitable for mineral processing operations on deep-sea mining vessels, used to separate seabed minerals brought up from the ocean floor. It is often installed on gold or tin dredgers for separating placer gold or placer tin ore. Furthermore, the hydraulic jig performs exceptionally well in processing minerals such as diamonds, tungsten, manganese, and hematite.
