A mining company in Bolivia owned a deposit of complex stibnite-gold ore, where fine gold particles were intimately associated with antimony minerals. The client's existing process was ineffective, resulting in a gold recovery rate of less than 50% due to the close intergrowth, while failing to recover the economically valuable antimony. The client required a processing line to efficiently separate and recover both gold and antimony concentrate.

We provided a processing line combining gravity separation and flotation. First, the ore is crushed by a jaw crusher and a cone crusher, then ground by a ball mill to liberate the gold and antimony. Subsequently, a combination of a Jig Machine, Centrifugal Concentrator, and Shaking Table is used to pre-concentrate the liberated gold. The tailings from the gravity separation circuit are fed into a flotation system, where high-grade antimony and gold concentrates are produced separately, significantly improving the overall gold recovery.
Dual Product Outputs: Successfully produced a marketable antimony concentrate with a recovery rate exceeding 90%, along with a high-purity gold concentrate.
Gold Recovery Increased to 85%: The combined process overcame the challenges posed by the mineral intergrowth, leading to a substantial increase from the previous rate of less than 50%.
Significantly Enhanced Economic Value: The revenue generated from the sale of the antiumony concentrate dramatically improved the project's overall economics and profitability.
